Memorial Wknd at the Lake!

Checkin' out the water at the lake!

Em's first time swimming in the lake.  Water temp was 70 degrees and they loved it!
Hailey was a little more timid.
Addy LOVES being at the lake.  She probably said more than 10 times randomly throughout the weekend "Mom, I love it here."  "Mom, I love this place."  Etc. :) :)
This was the first weekend we were able to bring up guests!!  We took our great neighbors!  They have a 7 year old boy and 5 year old twin girls.  We love them! Here they are getting ready to run in the lake to catch a football. :)
...and now they are tired.  :)  Hailey, Em, Addy

 Addison
 Emily
The guys blew up the "blue lagoon" raft thing which was A.MA.ZING :)
Our neighbors were up the first half of the weekend and then Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Kim came for the last part!  Here's Grandma and Addison living it up. :)
Being goofy.  Hailey, Addy, me, and Em - notice how Emily is rolling her tongue here?  I can do that too and I can't remember if Ryan can/cannot...but Addison and Hailey can't!  I'm especially amazed that Emily can do it if Hailey can't because it's a hereditary thing to be able to do that right?  And they are identical!  So if you ever can't tell who's who, ask them to roll their tongue. :)  EMILY can do it! :) Ha!
 SUNSET!

 A muskrat sighting!
Emily and Addison loved waking up early and watching the fisherman come right by our place! They were catching a ton of fish!
 And...I'm addicted to sunsets. :)

 Sooo beautiful!!!!
Here all the kids are going on a hike in the rain :)  (Addison K, Addison, Avery, Owen, Emily, Hailey)
And the grown ups! Ryan & I,  Luke & Laura!  (sorry it's blurry!) SUCH a great weekend!!!  Come again friends!! :)

 Super intense Hailey
 Sporty Em
All ready for church with their shades on :)  (HAE)

My babies.  They really are the best. :)
Tuesday night we went to the Brewers/Giants game.  First we tailgated with Uncle Duane, Uncle Jeff, Grandpa Kim & Grandma Kathy, Shane and Jody and Erin!   Ryan has been out of town all week so too bad he missed out on the fun.  :(  But here the girls are copying goofey Uncle Duane :)

He got them to pick their noses!

Here we are at the zoo a different day.  We can still rock the triple stroller - even at 4 1/2! :)
Here's Em in the front row next to the Giants dugout.  A player handed her the ball.  She didn't even know how cool that was and wasn't sure what to do when the whole crowd clapped. :) Then Hailey said "Mom, can we throw the ball back out there?"
Then we went up to see Uncle Duane in the booth!  He was announcing radio at that point.  Hailey was VERY into it and thought it was pretty cool hearing him talk through the headphones.  It was neat to hear him call a home run while we were standing right there!
The girls only lasted 3 innings since it was right around bedtime....so we left, went up and saw Uncle Duane, and then as we were heading out, a super nice lady gave the girls smoothies from the cafeteria.  On the walk back to the car, Addy's favorite part of the whole night was Emily getting the ball...and Hailey and Emily's favorite part was getting the smoothie! :)  They have no clue how cool it is to sit in the front row!! Thanks Uncle Duane for a fun night!! :)

Tea Party!

So yesterday our church put on this fellowship event for ladies ages 4 and up.  We had a fancy tea party where people wore old bridesmaid dresses and all the little girls wore dress up clothes or flower girl dresses.  We drank tea from real tea cups and had an amazing lunch! I think close to 180 people came! Then there was a wedding dress fashion show where 35 wedding dresses were modeled!  Some were worn by great grandmothers, some were passed down from generation to generation, and some were only a few years old!  It was so neat to see all the different dresses and how the styles have changed.  Addison, Emily, and Hailey LOVED it!  Addison woke up that morning and said "I am soooo excited!" They couldn't wait!  Addison wore her flower girl dress from my brother's wedding.  Hailey wore her flower girl dress from my friend Elizabeth's wedding, and then since their other flower girl dresses were from when they were 8 months old and 2 years old, Em wore her dress up bride dress!  When you ask Emily what she wants to be when she grows up, she says "A BRIDE!" :)

Me and my fancy little ladies :)

The girls loved the kabobs and the tea and the tea bags  (and the sugar packets!)
Hailey and her good friend Isabelle got to model these flower girls dresses that were handmade and from a long time ago!  Hailey's dress was an exact replica of the bride dress...beautiful!
 They were in heaven :)
Here's Heidi modeling a dress....I don't remember who's this one was but you can see some of the different dresses!
Here's me modeling a dress - can't remember how old it was either...
And my friend Des modeling one too!
Here's the girls' 4K teacher for next year modeling her own dress from 1982!  This one looked super comfy!
And this one was Ryan's great grandma's wedding dress!
And here I am modeling my mother in law's dress!  It was neat to be able to wear her wedding dress..
and it was kinda fun modeling the hat with the super long veil!  I kept thinking it was going to pull my head off!
 Love the long veil!
Then after the fashion show, all the little girls got to model what they were wearing and walk down the aisle.  They were toooo cute!!  Reese, Emily, Hailey
