It's been forever!

Hi!!!!! So apparently we have been busy!  I almost thought about stopping the blog…but then I also feel like I need to keep it up to remember stuff!  So here's a big old update with more to come once my computer stops being weird. :)
I thought I'd have so much more time this year now that the girls are in school but I'm learning that life is just busy no matter what stage you are in.  I feel super busy now but it's a totally different kind of busy than when the girls were home all of the time.  They continue to love kindergarten and my latest challenge parenting three kindergarteners is how to handle the crazy/silly/girlie/hyperness that happens when they come home from school.  I should say MOST of the time this is Emily and Hailey…with Addison saying "Mom, I don't like it when my sisters get silly."  haha.  :)  I'm just not sure if I should just take a deep breath and handle the chaos and TOTAL silliness..or if I should tell them to stop and settle down or what!  I'm super thankful for the days they have soccer or basketball or when it's warmer than -8 so they can go play outside. :)  Here's a pic of the girls playing "school bus" in the kitchen.

And this was a while ago but one day I took Hailey out shopping and to Starbucks.  This one on one time doesn't happen NEAR enough.  I can't even tell you how much I love spending one on one time with my girls…it is just so great.  :)
For Halloween - did I not even post this before??  Em chose to be Cleopatra, Addy a leopard..and Hailey a pink power ranger!  So random! :)
Part of our Christmas present from Ryan's parents was for all of us adults to go to Chicago and see the Blue Man Group!   It was such a fun day!
 Taking the train to Chicago...
 The ladies :)
We got a kick out of Grandpa and Grandma sitting in the back of the van. :)
Could have been a Christmas card I suppose but we just never got around to sending them this year.  Sorry!!!  The girls were angels for their Kindergarten school Christmas program!  It was SOO cute!! (EAH)

Emily, cousin Erin, Addison, and Hailey
Getting a little big for Santa's lap!! Em told Santa she wanted new earrings, Hailey said she wanted an American Girl doll, and Addison said she wanted "something special." :)
The girls started basketball at their school!  Not sure what is cuter!!  LOVE watching them play!!  Here's Em..
Addy lost a big front tooth! :)

And then here we are skiing in Colorado!  My sis and I!  (this was probably a few runs before my brother in law Cory actually fell OFF of the chair lift).  It was the funniest thing I've seen in like 10 years. :)  Him falling almost sent the rest of us on the chair off as well.  He was pretty embarrassed and we literally laughed the entire way up the mountain.  He was okay - no worries. :)
The girls did ski school one day and had a blast!  They were EXHAUSTED at the end though!!

Here's some of my sibs on the top of Copper Mountain!  I can't even tell you how much I love Colorado - especially skiing there!!  It is so beautiful and SO. MUCH. FUN!

We got to meet my new niece Brielle!!! She is the smiliest little thing and SOO SWEET!  Miss her tons!

And earlier in December Ryan had to go to Seattle for work and then some of the wives came at the end of the week to go skiing!  We had so much fun!!  It was pretty snowy there!
Ry and I at the original Starbucks! :)
Lots more to come - camera and computer are just not cooperating...

Fall fun

Hi!  So a few weeks ago the girls and I went "hiking" and it was so much fun.  They love adventure and exploring and of course, posing for pictures too. :)  Above Hailey, Addy, and Emily
and my big girl Addison...

They are bound to be little runners. :) (AHE)
On Sunday, we had a surprise visitor!  My good friend Elizabeth came to town with her brand new baby!  We were so happy and SO surprised to see her!  Here's Addison with Naomi!
 Em and Naomi
Hailey and Naomi - it is SOO neat seeing life happen....and remembering conversations I had with Elizabeth when she was a freshmen over coffee and now seeing how her life is turning out and how God has been faithful.  It's a very cool thing being able to hold her baby girl.  Love sweet Naomi!!!
And Grandma Kathy the girls to Halloween Express this year for their birthday to pick out a costume.  This is what they came back with!  So funny!  Emily picked Cleopatra (doesn't even know who that is but liked her dress) :)  Addison chose a leopard...and Hailey...was stuck on a pink power ranger!  (She also has no clue what a power ranger is!)  They crack me up.  For a while they were putting their costumes on and putting on a play for us where the leopard would be attacking cleopatra in her castle but then the pink power ranger would come out and save the day.  So funny! :) Our Halloween this year was a rainy mess....so I didn't get many pics!  But the girls still managed to get a lot of candy!!

3 Birthday Girls!!

Happy Birthday to my big 6 year olds!!!!  I'm not sure who loves their birthday more....them..or ME!  I LOVE celebrating who they are and I am so so thankful for Addison, Emily, and Hailey.  I LOVE that God picked me to be their mom and I feel so so blessed to have them in my life!  Seriously - I love them!!! :)  Look at how big my sweet Em is....

 and cute Addy...
and little Miss Hailey...they are SOOO BIG!!!!
Time TOTALLY flies as I feel like they should be turning like 3 or something.  SIX is SO BIG!  But each age has been so much fun.  It's so neat seeing their little personalities develop!  Here they are with their new "Rainbow Looms" from Grandpa Joel and Grandma Gwen.  They have been busy making bracelets!  One thing is for sure though...having three kids have birthdays on the SAME day is CRAZY!  If they each get one present from each family member....do you know how many presents that is sitting around your house at one time?  And then they all want to set them all up and learn how to play it or do it or WHATEVER at the SAME time!  Just another challenge we get to figure out how to tackle...but wow - birthdays are busy!!  I feel so many emotions celebrating all three of them...and also so much craziness trying to handle all of the birthday busyness!

So Ryan also loves to celebrates his girlies...and he was DEFINITELY as excited about their birthday gift from us as they were.  :)  But they all got REAL golf clubs!  SO CUTE! :)  So we went to the driving range today and it is just so cute seeing Ry teach his girls how to play (including me!)  Gotta start them young I guess! :) (HAE)
Addy
Aww..Addy likes watching any sport with her daddy. :)  She asks so many questions.

Daddy and his girls!

Addison - At 6 years old...Addy is just such a smarty pants.  She doesn't miss a beat.  She is a little mommy sometimes and makes sure people are following the rules and doing what's right.  She FREAKS out if you are about to do something that she knows is not right.  Like if you start backing up while in your driveway and everyone isn't QUITE buckled... :)  This is a good thing!  But also makes me laugh! :)  She is a little perfectionist and one of the most determined people I know!  She loves to compete...especially if she thinks she might win. :) And she is very into soccer!  Addison also loves learning and LOVES to read!  She is so so sweet and I could talk to her all day long like a grown up.  She is a very good question asker. :)   I love you honey!!!

Emily - Wow Em.  You are six years old.  Unbelievable.  Em still continues to be a little encourager to me or to her sisters.  She is a hard worker as well and will focus for a long time doing a little puzzle or working on making about 100 Rainbow Loom bracelets.  Em isn't afraid to go up to someone new and talk to them.  She is cute, confident, and so caring!  Emily also loves soccer and doing anything on the monkey bars lately.  She also LOVES her naps and will thank me on days when I tell her she can take a nap.  :)  Em has a way about her that is kinda funny but it's hard to explain.  Sometimes she'll exaggerate things or just the way she says things can be so funny.  Em tends to play with boys at school (and her reading buddy - a 4th grader) but loves wearing dresses. :)  She loves school too!  Em - you are my little sweetheart!  I LOVE YOU!!

Hailey - She is my spunky funny girl...that also loves snuggling and quality time.  She thinks she's pretty funny (and she is) :)  ...and she loves to make other people laugh too.  She will do these funny little dance moves and often talks like she's 16.  Hailey craves that one on one time with me and I always wish I could give her more one on one time.  She is still very creative and particular when it comes to what she wears, her artwork, how her desk looks, and how her things are organized.  I will often tuck her in at night and she will have her blanket folded perfectly in a tiny square sitting right next to her head.  Then she'll have her pillow pet or poodle centered on that blanket perfectly while she sleeps next to it, not even touching it. Then I'll find some lip gloss or jewelry hidden under her pillow. SOO Hailey! :)  Hailey also likes soccer...and basketball.  She's especially proud of her dribbling skills :) ...and she also loves the monkey bars and playing anything with her sisters.  She is such a people person! :) I love you so much Hailey Grace!!

The night of their birthday we celebrated with the Dooyema fam...the girls picked their dinner.  Addison requested brats :) ...Em asked for fruit salad with specific fruit requests...and Hailey asked for pasta salad.  And then ice cream sundaes for dessert! :) Not too bad!

I stopped in at school to have lunch with the girls on their birthday.  They all sit at different tables with kids from all different grades so I had to make the rounds pretty quickly. :)  Normally on your birthday in kindergarten, the child is the "special helper" for the day.  Well this got a little more complicated having 3 special helpers.  :)  But their teacher (who is amazing) said they had a great time splitting up all the duties.  Here they are being the "line leaders" for lunch together. :)  Normally the special helper gets a little wand and has to tap each kid to wake them up after "rest time."  So the girls each got to tap 5 kids to split up the duties. :)  So cute. :)  Their teacher said they are totally fine in class if they aren't together...but if she randomly has two of them be partners for something, they do a little squeal and start high fiving each other.  I LOVE that!! :)   (HEA)
Then Friday we had their birthday party with their friends in their class at Adventure Rock!  (It's an indoor rock climbing place!)  Here they are with some of their friends from school...(Emily, Ella, Addy, Hailey, Connor, and Owen) :)
 Getting instructions...
 And a tour...
 Here goes Addy!

Happy Birthday Addison, Emily, and Hailey!  You each bring us so much JOY!!  We love you and are SO proud of who you are becoming and so thankful for who He has made you to be!!  XOXOXO!!
