Winter Fun and SKIING!

 Ry and I kicked off the New Year hosting a "Mustache Bash" party. :)  It was hilarious and super fun seeing everyone in different assortments of mustaches.  :)  Some were even natural! :) If you push Ry's 
nose, his mustache and eyebrows would wiggle.  Awesome. :) Here was our favorite guest.  Baby Eloise sportin' a stache as well. :)

And, a big change starting this year is that I started taking care of Baby Brie! :)  Brie's parents go to our church and they needed someone to watch Brie from 2 -5 two days one week and then one day the next!  I MISS having babies around and thought it would be fun for the girls to see all that is involved with having a baby around.  They are all about it.  I have lots of helpers taking turns feeding and keeping her happy.  It's so cute hearing them talk to her too! :)  Brie is a sweetie! :) Here's Hailey and Brie..

Then one day a couple weeks ago, I said the girls could each pick a friend to have over for a playdate.  They loved it and had a ball with their little friends.  Oh to be 5 again. :) Emily, Addison, Julia, Abby, Emily, and Lydia. :)

And, my baby Em is growing up SOOO FAST!!!! She lost her first tooth!!!!!  A few weeks ago, she told me she had a loose tooth and I didn't really believe her but sure enough it was loose!  Very loose!  So I pulled it out....which was an adventure...but we did it and afterwards Em was so excited!  Her sisters don't even have any loose teeth yet so she felt pretty cool being the first one to go through the whole tooth fairy experience and everything.  So I don't forget :) , her tooth fairy gave her $5 and a pack of gum. :) Addison said "I wish I was Emily!" :)  So cute.

Also this winter, the girls have been playing indoor soccer with their friend Isabelle.  They absolutely love it.  They keep saying they never want to stop and they want to do every session possible.  Oh my! I may just be a soccer mom after all! But they are already improving which is pretty cool to see and they have so much fun running around and sweating.  Here's Josie (Isabelle's little sister), Isabelle, Emily, Hailey, and Addy. :)

Then one weekend in January, Ryan and his dad were both out of town for work so my mother in law and I took the girls up to the lake!  We hadn't been there in the winter and it was super fun!  The lake was frozen over!  Tons of people were ice fishing, playing broomball, ice skating, etc.  We just had fun walking across!  Here the girls are doing snow angels on the lake...

Then another weekend Ryan and I decided to take the girls skiing and teach them ourselves!  Wowee is that a lot of work teaching 3 girls to ski!  We were wiped but we all had a ton of fun!  My little ski bunnies...

Then last weekend, we went 4 1/2 hours north to a ski resort with the whole Dooyema clan. :)  Even though temps were in the negatives, we all had a great time!!  

Here we took a sleigh ride to a BBQ at a lodge...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE SKIING with my family!!!  The girls already improved so much since the few weekends before when Ryan and I took them!

Addy!  She was the first to go on the chairlift with me!! I was SO SO proud of her!  They all did it four times and no one fell at all!  I was shocked!  I thought they'd be afraid of heights a little bit but nope!  Addison was like "Look at the view Mom!"  So proud of them!

 Christmas Day, my in-laws neighbor dressed up like Santa and came over!  The girls were pretty excited he picked Grandma's house to come and visit.  They were all eyes and Santa did a GREAT job acting the part.  :)  So much fun! :)

Way overdue!

Guess it must be that time of year!  I'm way overdue for an update!  Plus, our computer has been dying so it is NOT easy to work with when the screen goes black very frequently.  But today, it's working so far! :)  Here are some pics of the past month or so.  

Trick or treating with friends! The girls were originally going to be what they want to be when they grow up (Addison - a Dr. for babies, Hailey - a fireman (?), and Emily - a Bride). :)  But then the last minute they resorted to princesses.  :) 

 Then actual Halloween was on the night they had soccer!  They LOVE soccer and it's so fun watching them play! Here there coach even dressed up like a Penguin!

 And then since trick of treating was RIGHT after soccer, they wanted to be soccer players this time!

 One night we went rock climbing with our neighbors.  Who knew this would be so fun!  I've never done it before!  The girls LOVED it and had no fear!  Here's Hailey..

 Then this was just one of those precious moments that I HAD to capture.  Usually, the girls wake us up every day and come in our room to get us.  But one day, there lights were on...and we could hear they were all talking...but they were not coming to get us!  Weird!  So I got up to see what was going on and this is what i found!  All of the girls had gone up into Emily's bed and Addison was reading the Bible to Emily and Hailey!  SOOOO precious!!!  Addy has really picked up reading and it is SOO amazing to see that click.  It's like a miracle to all of the sudden see her brain GET it!  I really love watching them all learn but this whole reading thing is remarkable!!  :)  Emily and Hailey are getting it more and more too.  It's so cool how they have each other to help encourage them to figure it out.  They are getting SO BIG!!!  (Emily, Hailey, Addy)

 Their Thanksgiving school program!  The girls are still loving school!  They will frequently start singing all of the songs they learn in school...even when we are in the middle of Target or whatever.  They just sing away....it's so cute ....and also so loud. :)

 Then for Thanksgiving we went to DENVER!  It was SO FUN to see my whole family!  Two siblings had gotten new houses that we hadn't seen yet...and then all 3 of my siblings had dogs we needed to see! :)  It was great for the girls to get acquainted with some big dogs as we are used to little Pepper around here! :)  Here they are with their cousins Bryce and Kamryn!  (E, Bryce, A, Kamryn, and H). :)

 Then it was my sister in law's birthday one day...and my dad has a big ol' birthday to celebrate this month :)  So we all went out to celebrate while my Uncle Steve and Aunt Dawn watched all the little kiddos.  We laughed a LOT that night and it was such a treat!!
