So - this afternoon, I experienced one of the weirdest feelings ever. I can hear that the girls woke up from their naps....but I was just letting them have their "sister" time when they chat and laugh and jump around and all of that when they first wake up. Plus, I was talking on the phone to Auntie Jody. :) Anyways, as I'm talking to her in the kitchen, all of the sudden little Miss HAILEY joins me in the kitchen! I was like "HOW IN THE WORLD DID YOU GET IN HERE?" SUCH a crazy feeling. This is the first time she got out of her crib and I just cannot believe HOW this is possible! And how she wasn't screaming or in pain or anything? She just nonchalantly walked up to me! I can't believe my littlest baby (babies) might be ready for big girl beds! Ahhhh! I guess Ryan and I HAVE to be ready! I'm a little nervous, a little excited, and a little sentimental!!! Well, after their naps, we talked up their "big girl beds" a LOT to them. I think they were pretty excited too! So....we went through the usual routine of jammies, teeth brushing, and Bible stories....and then on it was to their big beds! I still can't believe they are old enough for this as I type it right now! Anyways, so we tuck them in...and they look SOOO cute and sooo tiny in their huge beds. So then Ry and I shut the door and just waited outside...and usually, when we leave, they all get up, jump up and down, talk up a storm to each other, throw their animals at each other...and then about 30 minutes to 45 minutes later, they calm down and go to sleep. So, that's what we expected. However, we sat there and listened....and we hear NOTHING! Complete SILENCE! This has never happened before! It was just so cute because you could just tell the girls knew it was a big deal and that they WANTED to be big girls now. Seriously, I think they fell asleep in 5 minutes time.
So anyways, I'm sure NAPTIME might not go this smoothly....but I sure hope potty training does! :)
We started working on their big girl room a while ago because we bought 3 bunk beds, 3 desks, and a trundle from a mom in my multiples group who's triplet girls just graduated from college. The stuff is still in good condition so we were pumped!
Can you see their little heads in this pic? Why am I tearing up? :)
The beds are exactly 12 inches apart. Not much room to spare. At least it's more room than in my womb right? :) Once they get old enough, we'll loft the beds and then they can have more space.

So cute, Shelly! Glad bedtime went well!
The room looks great! It's a funny feeling when your babies move into their "big girl beds". It's a good thing though . . . it means that the girls are progressing like they should be (at least that's what my dad always says. I still cry about it though) :)
Have a wonderful day!
