18 month Dr. Visit

Well, this morning we had the girls' 18 month Dr. visit!  And the girls are doing great!  Emily and Hailey are in the 50% for weight and height and Addison is in the 75 - 90% for weight and height.  Addison weighs 26 lbs. 14 1/2 oz.  Emily 23 lbs. 11 oz. and Hailey weighs 24 lbs.!  Developmentally, Emily and Hailey are right in line with normal 18 month-ers so that is great!  Addison is also doing well for an 18 month-er but just doesn't have as much vocab as the other girls.  The Dr. wasn't worried about her yet because she UNDERSTANDS so much.  And, her small vocabulary could be because we could adjust her age to 16 months still....OR...it could just be because her vocab will just pick up a little later since some 18 month-ers don't have as much vocab as others.  So, overall they are doing very well!  We are so thankful!  In June, we will have their development assessment appointment which will go in further detail with how the girls are progressing as preemies.
