Anyway, just thought I'd let you know that there won't be a blog update til next week sometime! :) But, Ryan and I would actually love to see how many of you actually read this thing. It's not fair that you get to check in on our lives but we have no idea what's going on in yours. So...if you read this, can you please write on here? Just click on the comments, then write us a note even if you just say hi. Sunshine!! Woo hoo!!!!!!
Ryan and I are headed to Florida for a much needed vacation with friends! I can't believe we're actually leaving! We'll be gone til Tuesday...but Mom and Dad Dooyema will be staying here with the girls. They are AMAZING! We are very excited for our trip as we haven't taken an extended vacation without the girls yet. It's my first time away for longer than a day or so ..so...we'll see how I do! :) The timing of the trip isn't the greatest for Mom and Dad Dooyema seeing that Shane is still in need of help at home. Thankfully, the girls are acting and feeling better but still need to have the nebulizer treatments and medicine. I will miss my babies like crazy but I know that I'll come back and be able to be a better mom because I'll be very refreshed! Then I'm sure Mom and Dad D. will need a vacation! :)

I LOVE reading and seeing how your girls and family is doing. Eric's dad had heart surgery (valve repair) this fall. Praying for Shane's recovery! So thankful his wife caught that something was wrong! Have a great time on vacation!

I read this about once/twice a month and I love it! It' Amanda Van Andel by the way. We are doing pretty good. Kids are doing good too. Had a rough start to the winter with sick kids and I'm sure we'll get another round of it soon, but for now we are pretty healthy. I can't imagine having 3 sick kids at once. I too feel soooo bad for the kids when they are sick. At least you can stay home with them when they are sick and not worry about office work that isn't getting done. Of course, you have other work not getting done and have no wear to escape to when they finally do feel better! Hope your trip went well!Amanda

Have a WONDERFUL time in Florida. I just took my mom to Florida to visit her sister and it was so awful to have to come back to the Wisconsin winter. It is hard to believe just a few hours on a plane and you can be walking on a beach in 80 degrees when back home it is below zero windchill. ENJOY.

Hi Shelly! You probably don't remember me, but you came to my house one time a long time ago with my cousin Heather. I remember when you came over bc I thought you were SOOO pretty! Then, Heather told me you had triplets and had a website and she gave me the site address. I check it regularly. I feel like I know your girls on a personal level! They are SO cute and look like a ton of fun! You had a post a long time ago and had pictures of Tulip Time on there, and there was a picture in the exact same spot as where my family took one. I was so bummed though that I missed seeing your girlies!! That would have made my day!! Whenever me and Heather get together on like holidays or whatever she always tells Emily and I that if we would ever come visit her, we could come see your little ladies! I think that would be SOOO much fun! Anyways, I just wanted to tell you that I hope you have an amazing vacation and if you ever need a babysitter you can send your girls to Platte, SD and I will defiantely take them for the night!!
