Shopping :)

Four generation picture with the Dooyemas!
Last week it was so nice that we walked to church for the first time!
Here the girls are having fun outside on a beautiful day....they love being outside! :)
Daddy reading the girls a book.  All I can say is that it's kind of hard to get the 3 of them on our laps to read now.
Addison was pinned - double time. :)

The girls LOVE the mall! :)  (we are all feeling better by the way).... So Grandma Kathy and I decided to try out the mall for the very first time with the girls and they loved it! :)  They seriously did so good...they slept in the stroller for the first hour, then we changed and fed them all in the middle of the mall and they were champs...and then the next hour they just looked around and watched everything.  Not even a peep!  They were so good! :)  We found where all the elevators are in the mall....and we did get stopped a LOT.  One Asian lady was funny "Ohhh cuties cuties - can i take foto?!"  So there she goes getting her picture taken with my babies.  So random!  I also learned not to walk them through the make up section at Macy's because every single lady from all the different make up counters came out to look at the girls.  It was a mob. :)  But I"m just glad they did so well - makes me think I can do it again. :)
Hmm..what else.  Hailey has been rolling over from back to stomach a TON now!  She does it for sure once a day if not more.  Emily is rolling as well and Addison is so funny.  She's not interested one bit. Crazy cuz she's the biggest!  She's so laid back though that I think she thinks she'll get to it when she gets to it. No hurry. :) Well, nothing else is new so time to play with the girls....

No fun

Hi there.  Well, all 3 girlies are sick, including their mom!  YUCK!  It is just starting to get warmer out and now we're all sick.  We all have headcolds and I feel like I have a fever too.  All I can say is it is WAY harder dealing with the girls all day when we are all sick!  They are much more fussy and I just don't have the energy to give to them!  I hope we all get better soon because this is not easy! Maybe they will all take a nap together today so I can get one in too!  Hope you are all healthy!

Big girls

I seriously feel like the girls have grown so much in the past couple of weeks.  They are changing so fast now and really acting grown up. :)  Just the way they look at you now, and how they stare at each other...and how they grab for everything and smile like crazy. It's so much fun!  The warm weather is FABULOUS too.  This mom stuff is so much fun!! :) Oh!  And Emily rolled over today from back to stomach!  I couldn't believe it!  I didn't even see her do it.  I had laid her on the floor on her back and when I came back, she was on her stomach!!!  She was the first to roll from stomach to back too!  And to think she was the smallest at birth!

The girls wearing their first pair of jeans!  (Addy, Emily, Hailey)
Here the girls are playing in their playroom. :)  Notice the handprints on the wall?  We're asking friends and family to give us their handprints around the room.  It's not done yet!

The first of many bathtub pictures.  :)  This is the first time the girls could take a bath together at the same time! :)  They are sitting in tubseats.  Fun fun!  (Emily, Hailey, Addison)

Baptism x 3

Notice Pastor Peter's face.  This is after he thought we came close to "fumbling" a handoff of Hailey. :)  We knew we were in control. :)

Dooyema Grandparents, us, and Peters Grandparents

What a special special (special) day! :)  Today, the girls were baptized at our church where Ryan and I committed them to the Lord and promised to do all we can to raise them to know Him as well.  God's grace is truly AMAZING!  So many friends and family came into town for the occasion and it was so great!  The girls did AWESOME during church and didn't even cry when they were baptized.  The 1st and the 2nd  grade girls sang the following song along with a good friend.  We had a super nice lunch for family afterwards and everything was picture perfect!  The girls were wearing dresses made out of Ryan's grandma's wedding dress so they looked so beautiful and precious and what a neat memory.  These words to the song truly are our prayer for Addy, Emily, and Hailey.
"Little hands, may they reach to help the hurting
Little eyes, may they see only the good in all
Little hearts, may they beat for Your will and no other
Little ears, may they hear the still small voice of the Lord.
Lord keep Your hands upon our little babies
Love and guide them, Jesus walk beside them.
Lord keep Your hands upon our little babies
Our precious gifts from above. (chorus)
Little feet, may they walk on the straight and narrow path
Little mouths, may they proclaim, the goodness of the Lord
And when, they're grown and we are gone, we pray Your name they'll carry on
And by Your will, oh Lord let it be, that they'll live with us for eternity.
CHORUS"

First bites of Rice Cereal!!

Hey there!  So this week has been a big week for FOOD! :)  The girls are now eating Rice cereal and wow - is this going to be an adventure. :)  They haven't been the biggest fans of the idea but now Addison and Emily are slowly getting the hang of it.  Hailey still makes the funniest faces and isn't so sure why I keep stuffing her mouth with a pink spoon full of mush.  But, I feel like they are big girls now!  And, all of my frozen breastmilk has run out.  So now I am trying to slowly stop nursing because I'd like to be done before my brother in law's wedding in May.  It's so nice not pumping anymore and now I'm just nursing mostly Addison but Emily and Hailey every now and then so that Addison doesn't forget how to take a bottle.  I'm glad the girls could get breastmilk for 6 months.  My goal was 3 months with triplets so I'm glad I could do it that long! I should be cleaning right now and getting ready for all of the company that is coming into town for the girls' big baptism day on Sunday but I thought I'd send you some pictures first.

Hailey's not so sure. :)
The first of many rides with Daddy.  (Hailey)
We've noticed that Hailey seems to be the chatter in the group.  She LOVES talking to anyone and so we finally put the phone up to her ear.  Here she is chatting away to Auntie Kara!
All lined up for lunchtime. :) (A - E - H)
Emily and Hailey rough housing. :)  Looks like Emily won. :)

Take Me Out to the Ballgame!!!

Yea Yea Yea - we know the girls are sporting San Francisco Giants outfits today but don't you worry - they are diehard Brewers fans.  The only way we could get great seats at the game from Ryan's uncles (who work for the Giants) was if the girls came to the game in Giants gear!  They were sure troopers though.  They did great and even took a little nap despite all the loud noise at the game.  The firecrackers at the beginning gave them a little startle, but other than that, they really did awesome!  Our seats were right behind home plate about 20 rows up so that was sooo fun!  The opening day crowd treated the girls pretty well even though they were decked out in Giants garb.  They were only boo'ed on a couple different occasions and even though they were wearing Giants stuff, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel interviewed the girls and took pictures!  We'll see if they make a debut in tomorrow's paper.  CRAAAZZYY!

Uncle Duane and Uncle Jeff with the girls
Our first big family outing to Miller Park!
The girls got to go up to the broadcasting booth with the Giants announcers Mike Krukow, Great Uncle Duane Kuiper, and Dave Flemming
Hailey - Emily - Addison - notice the orange ribbons on their hats?  That was as "girly" as they got today. :)  GOOOO BREWERS!

HAPPY 6 MONTHS!!!

I can't believe the girls are already 6 months old!  The year is FLYING by and I feel like the fun is just beginning now that the weather is warming up and the girls are able to get out more.  The girls had their 6 month check up yesterday and they are doing great!  Addison weighs 14 lb 5 oz!  Emily is 13 lbs. 2 oz. and Hailey weighs 13 lbs. 3 oz.  They are all right in line with being 4 months old.  If they were charted along with 6 month olds, they'd be in the 10th percentile.  Their Dr. is SO pleased with their growth though and how well they are all doing.  Praise the Lord!!!!  :)
I can definitely tell that things are getting easier with the girls but harder at the same time.  They are sleeping through the night which helps a TON and now they can keep themselves occupied a little better since they are starting to notice each other now.  It is so cute watching them look at each other and start cooing back and forth!  But now I'm on my own for cooking and the help is winding down so as "freeing" as that is, it takes me forever to get anything done! The next goal will be to get the girls to all take naps at the same time.  I'm so pumped that they at least sleep together at night...but during the day is another task. :)  But, they are all screaming for me at the moment so it's time to go play with them!
