3 hours

If any of you reading this think of it, could you please say a little prayer for us? For some reason, things have gotten a little tougher over here even though my mom is here to help! I don't know what's going on with the girls! They have NOT been sleeping well lately and Addison and Hailey have been spitting up a ton! They've been on meds to help with their spitting since they've been born but for some reason, it really doesn't seem to be working anymore! It's a crazy circle that we run because we give them their meds, then try to feed them, then they spit up their meds, try to feed again...spit up again, then we stop feeding them because it seems like they'll just spit it all up...but then they fuss and fuss because they are starving! It's crazy!!! Last night I only got 3 hours of interrupted sleep... Someone was always crying and they just weren't satisfied with anything! Emily is doing well though - she isn't spitting up as often and she is eating pretty well. It's just wearing on me when the other two can't keep anything down! They don't act sick or anything though so I don't know what to do with them! Please pray for their little tummies to be able to handle their feedings...and please pray for me as I am getting more and more tired!! Thank you so much!

Hang in there Shelly- While I'm not a doctor or any sort of health expert, I do have a bit of experience with newborns and know that this is really common, especially with premies. They'll probably get through it, and it just seems so much worse because there are 3 of them!

Hi Shelly, my prayers are with you and your family. Have you contacted the girls' dr. to see if this normal? If it is, justing knowing that will be a relief. I know what it's like to be so weary with a little one not sleeping; having 3 little ones at once magnifies everything. Hang in there, hon. Hugs:)

Hi Shelly and Ryan,
my name is Laura Beckering (Darin Beckering's sister-in-law) and he gave us your site address. We had 32 week twin baby boys and your situation is very dear to my heart. Those times of intense tiredness and meds galore combined with the extra worry that comes with premature babies can really be hard. But don't give up!!! Things get better--one day at a time. Things were difficult with 2terrible sleeping babies--I can't imagine adding a 3rd. We will pray. Dan said he would like to talk with Ryan sometime--Dan was a good nighttime helper, but had some crazy moments because of it too:) Blessings, Laura Beckering
