Best Day EVER

Last night was SOO AWESOME! Ryan and I went to visit the girls last night and to our surprise, the nurse said we could HOLD THEM! The Dr. said these parents can't wait any longer to hold their kids...so they let us hold them one day early since they are doing so well! It was SUCH a treat and wow - I don't even know how to explain how GOOD it feels to hold them close. I probably kissed them each like every 5 seconds. We can't get enough of them! I just wanted to run right out of that hospital with them. They are soo light....and so small....but sooooooo precious and perfect. Ryan's bday is on Thursday and that is the BEST birthday present he could ever get! I don't even think I need to go shopping for him! :)
The girls are progressing very well. All of them are now off of the bili lights as well as the breathing help and they also don't need to monitor the oxygen level in their blood anymore so that's one less cord that needs to be attached to them! Yay! :) They all had their brain scans done this morning so our prayer is that they don't find any blood in their brains. Addison's heart murmur is still a concern so hopefully that will close up on it's own sometime soon. But since she's handling it pretty well, they won't do any treatment since there can be complications with the treatment. So, please keep praying that the murmur closes on its own!
Can't believe the girls are a week old already. This has all happened so fast. God is good though...and we're so thankful that He's in control!

I love that picture of you & Hailey with her eyes wide open! I can just imagine the love you felt, holding your girls for the first time. There's no feeling like it! I check the site a lot, just love looking at the pictures and hearing about the girls' progresses.

Hi Shel and Ryan,
Ooo there is nothing better than when they but that little one in your arms. I can't imagine 3 little ones in your arms! But they are sooo beautiful! You guys must be so happy to finally touch them and hold them close! We are praying for their growth and their development and that you will all be together soon!
Love,
The Coldagellis

How fun it is to look back(wards) over the course of your pregnancy! Your three little princesses are indeed beautiful. I understand that one is fraternal and the other two are identical; how much do they look alike and/or identical in your eyes? Are you able to quickly distinguish one from the other? If I were the mother of multiples, my fear would be that I would get them mixed up! Congratulations to you both, and we'll keep on praying for you. Linda Saubers

Every perfect gift comes from above from above from the Father...He out did himself giving you three beautiful daughters! Your Bible verse is perfect for He did above and beyond what you, or anyone, imagined. MIke and I are so pleased for you. What a treat to see their beautiful pictures and hear about their amazing progress. I am so pleased that you both were able to hold them!! Congratulations!
