Miracles

Hi to you all!

Ryan and I just wanted to let you all know that we are going to be proud PARENTS this Fall! We are so incredibly excited and truly in awe at the miracles and blessings in life that God gives us. Here's the story for all who are interested. :)

We had been wanting to get pregnant for an entire year and had a hard time waiting on God and wondering why it was taking Him so long. "For I know the plans I have for you" feels more true now than ever. In March, we decided to get Ryan tested to make sure everything was okay. Before we had a chance to hear back about the results, I found out I was pregnant! We were overjoyed and SOOO thankful that nothing was wrong with Ryan and that God's perfect timing had arrived. I have been feeling wonderful and only had 2 days of morning sickness. But, last Saturday, Ryan and I went rollerblading and I had a BIG scare because all of the sudden I had a TON of bleeding and one clot. We were freaking out and hoping nothing was wrong with the baby. So....Wednesday morning we went in to get an ultrasound in hopes that they would find a beating heart. Turns out, they found THREE beating HEARTS! No joke. I am not kidding around. I'm not going to shut up. And I'm more SERIOUS than ever. WE ARE HAVING TRIPLETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are still in absolute shock over here and I don't even think we've digested what we've gotten ourselves in to. We don't even know how to be parents for one child, so what's 2 more? :) :) We are just absolutely amazed at God's handiwork though and can't believe this really is in His plan for us. It is amazing too, that this all happened 100% naturally - no drugs, nothing. It's still really early yet as I will be 9 weeks on Monday....so if we could ask for all of your prayers, that would be MUCH appreciated. Please pray for 3 healthy babies and that I will be able to carry these little guys/girls AT LEAST until 32 weeks. So far, all babies have beautiful beating hearts and are all in different sacs so we know they aren't conjoined or anything. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness, His grace, His miracles, and His undying love for all of us. I will keep you all posted with updates on how they are doing. I still can't believe I'm actually typing this and I actually have 3 little gummy bears inside of me right now. It is VERY overwhelming and has been hard to sleep with so much going through my mind. Many of you know that I used to work at Wisconsin Right to Life as the Event Coordinator. It's craziness over there because the Event Coordinator BEFORE me is ALSO having triplets, but in June. So I don't know what was in the water at that organization. :) Sooo.....my due date is December 4 but I'm sure I won't have the 3 kickers in me that long...so it'll probably be more like October, hopefully November. And yes, we will find out what we are having.....we will definitely let you all know. :)
So, surprise surprise surprise. We never would have thought. :) Please please keep the quickly growing Dooyema family in your prayers. We love you all SOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!
