Easter 2011 and more..

Hi!  Just wanted to write about our new little schedule we have...cuz I hope we can continue it!  A month ago we started taking turns taking one of the girls out to Panera for a bagel on Saturday mornings.  Ry went first with Emily, then I went next with Hailey, and then Ry is out with Addy right now.  Then the last Saturday in the month we stay home and have a big ol' pancake breakfast. :)  Anyway, it is just SO cool having one on one time w/ the girls!  We both LOVE it!  And you should see how much THEY love it!  The girl who is going is always the first one up that day.  You should have seen Addison the other day at 6:30 a.m.  It was like Ryan was taking her to Disney World or something.  We just LOVE spending time with them on their own and seeing their personalities shine and the questions flow.
The girls also started taking swimming lessons for the first time.  We haven't been able to do swimming lessons before because all of them were for child WITH parent and we don't have enough parents to go with each of the girls!  So...now they can finally take swimming lessons without having one of us in the water.  The first day Addy was a little timid as she wasn't sure about the teacher and what was going on but last time they all did great!  It was hard getting them OUT of the water!
And then here are some Easter pics!  We went to Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Kim's house with our family friends and had a great dinner and a great egg hunt.  Too bad one of their "boyfriends" was sick and couldn't make it...but the competition was still high so it was fun. :)  ANDDDD.....Shane and Jody got to tell us what they are expecting!!  I was so excited to find out....drum roll please....we're having a NIECE!!!!  I'm sooo excited and the girls are too.  We will for sure have a great girls bball/vball team now! :)  Can't wait to meet the little one!  Her ultrasound pics are adorable!!!

Emily, Hailey, Addy, and Tyler - they could be quadruplets :)
Everyone got to find their own "color" of eggs.  That way there wouldn't be any fighting. :)
Tricky Ry "hid" one in his belt..
Everyone was very helpful in pointing out each other's eggs...
On the hunt...it was intense :)
Especially when they had to willingly get an eye poked out to reach some of the eggs :)
Pure joy!

Hailey and Daddy
and little Lucas had fun playing with the empty eggs. Next year bud you'll get the good stuff. :)
And, if you could please pray for my brother Craig and my sister in law Laura.  Their Easter was ruined  by the fact that some crazy people broke into their house and stole a ton of stuff - including their identity!  It's awful awful awful. I feel so bad for them as they are both sick and have a sick boy too and just have SUCH a mess to deal with now with all new paperwork and everything.  I wish I could help them somehow....  so please just pray for them for me as Craig has to take tests for his new job...and doesn't have his laptop anymore with all of his study info..(and it's his bday tomorrow)...and Laura and her laptop and all of her notes for her schooling...and just everything.  When things like this happen, especially on Easter, it's just another reminder to me that He IS coming again and that this world cannot and will not satisfy our desires....  Praying for these people who felt the need to invade their privacy as well....what a mess!

Cousin!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone!  So...we've been dying to share the great news that the girls will be getting a new cousin sometime in September!  Yup, that's right, Shane (Ryan's bro) and Jody are expecting and we're SOOOO excited for them!!! (and Ry and I are so excited to have a niece/nephew that will live so close!)  The girls are going to be 3 little mothers I can tell already.  They ask about Jody's baby all the time and they are placing bets on whether it's a girl or a boy.  As of today, we have 2 guesses for girl and one for boy.  We will see!  Last week Jody told them that her baby was about the size of an apple.  So then when we had a playdate with one of Ryan's coworkers kids on Friday and I told them a new baby was coming over, the girls asked if it was as big as an apple too. :) They are full of questions and anticipation.  This little one has been prayed for for a long time already and we can't wait to see another little Dooyema running around here.  So fun!
Here's a pic of Emily, Addison, and Hailey ready for church this a.m. in their dresses from Great Aunt Pauline :) Thanks a bunch Pauline!  They love twirling in them! The pic just makes me see how much taller Addy is getting!  The dresses are all the same size and look how much higher Addison's is!  She seriously eats like her dad and many times eats more than I do.  She is a growing girl!! :)

On another note, WE ARE READY FOR SPRING!   And Wisconsin is just messing with us.  Last Sunday it was 84.  This Sunday it's 40.  We try to teach the girls about the four seasons and they are so confused and I think they think we don't know what we're talking about because we tell them it's Spring...and then it snowed yesterday and they said "MOOOOMMM....it's WINNNNTEER" as if they know better than me. :) Hopefully it warms up for good pretty soon as life is just EASIER in the warm weather!!  We all LOVE it outside!
We stayed in all weekend and hung low.  Here's a pic of us having a family movie night.  Toy Story 3 is really cute! :)

and playing games....  by the way, trying to play any game like this with three 3 year olds is tricky.  It usually starts out pretty well.....but by the 3rd time around, the game changes into their rules and their way of playing.  All of the sudden spinning the wheel on "High Ho
Cherry-o" became "who wants a cherry milkshake?"  So the actual "game" playing doesn't last very long.   Here they are each making their cherry milkshakes...
So then we thought we'd try making a mini-golf course in the house.  Ry would love it if the girls developed a love for golf.  Helping Addy with her form...
taking turns..
And we've been seeing lots of wild life in our yard lately.  Here's a turkey running away from me in our backyard..
And here's 3 deer across the street from our mailbox.  We see them so often but somehow it never gets old.  :)

Hope you all have a wonderful Easter!
