Having fun

Thought I would upload a bunch of random pics.  Last night, we organized an 80's rollerskating party with a bunch of our friends.  I don't think we've been rollerskating SINCE the 80's so it was a blast dressing up and it came back pretty quickly.  Although this time, many of us complained of sore backs, blisters, hurt knees and tail bones (are we really that old?) :)  It was so much fun to have a night out though and I think we all had a great time!  (Thanks for the idea Sis! :) )
Don't we look hot? :)  Ha!
Yesterday morning we went to my friend Heather's work as they had an Easter Egg Hunt and the Easter bunny there.  I thought the girls might be a little too young but OHH MANN...they loved it!  They had their baskets FULL of eggs and were running in every direction looking for eggs.  It was so fun to watch them have so much fun!  Here Emily is confused.  She wants the egg but it's behind the glass door. :)

Addison, Hailey, Emily (notice how Emily already had a WRAPPED piece of chocolate in her mouth?) :)

Ring around the Rosie has been a new favorite game lately.  I just love that they know how to hold each other's hands now!  So cute! :)

Zoo Fun

Last week, we had great weather!  So instead of having our playgroup at our house, we all went to the zoo!  We had a total of 11 moms and 20 kids there.  It was crazy but very fun!  Here are some pics.

Who needs to look at the animals when there are other kids running around?
Some people would call our stroller an 'exhibit' as well. :)

1st prank

Well, the girls have managed to pull off their first (and hopefully last) prank on us!  This morning, we got the girls all ready for church, Ryan put 2 girls in the car...I grabbed the other one and was putting her in the car.  Then I turned to head back into the house to get our coats, the keys, and the diaper bag..and OHHH NOOO...the door was LOCKED.  The girls had managed to turn the lock on the door now that they can reach the handles and we had no idea that it was turned so the door locked!!  AHH!   Here we are...stuck outside of our own house...Ryan and I didn't have coats on...it was 27 degrees outside...we had no diapers, no food for the girls, and no way of getting back in!  I was like "We have to break a window!  I'm cold!"  But Ryan was more level headed...he said we should just walk to church (a 10 minute walk for us in the cold with no coats on - I wasn't so sure...) But at least the girls had their coats on..so we walked...and thankfully, we found someone who came home with us and helped us break into our own house!  What a mess.  We sure learned our lesson and we'll either make copies of our keys or keep our girls away from the door knobs! Now how do we figure out which one of the three was actually the culprit??? Oh boy...the fun continues. :)

Hugs

jumping, dancing, and...

50 degrees..

...and yet it felt like 80 degrees today.  We LOVVVEE the warm weather!!! I can't even tell you how great it felt to get outside with the girls today.  They were having a BLAST running around and giggling like crazy on our driveway.  It was so cute and so much fun to see THEM having so much fun!  We played outside a lot...and Addy especially got a lot of time outside because she woke up from her nap an hour before her sisters.  Too bad Emily and Hailey had no clue what they were missing. :)  We also bought a zoo pass so we took the girls to the zoo today for the first time of the season.  That was also great this time around because now they were so interested in the animals and would point at everything.  So far, the giraffes are their favorite. :)  But, all of this outside stuff does bring on a whole new set of challenges with raising triplets.  The other day, I took them outside just for a little bit and my heart started beating faster it was so intense trying to keep track of them!  It's like the street is this ENTICING thing or something.  Addison would run to the street, I'd run after her....bring her back to the back of the driveway...meanwhile Hailey has run off to the street and Emily has run down our sidewalk where we have a steep ledge.  I was running so fast every which direction.  It was nuts!  If there were only 2, I feel like that would be manageable...at least I can hold both of their hands.  We're working on teaching them to hold my fingers...ohhh man.  This will be a fun but interesting summer. :)

They love looking outside.  The other day we saw 10 deer!

Addison had a ball playing with Daddy. :)

Trying things on...

Hi there!  Just a couple pics to show you. :)  Yesterday we got out of the house and went to the mall with one of the girls who I used to lead in high school youth group who was home from college.  We had so much fun catching up and hanging out and I love that we're still able to maintain a friendship and accountability.  I even got to hang out with her roommate too which was very fun.  Anyways, here we are trying on sunglasses.  The girls do so well shopping!  So much to see all of the time! :)

And here's Hailey trying on Uncle Shane's shoes... :)
